To achieve that we use data from a survey carried out with 55 companies of different sizes and sectors, at different stages of LP implementation. Data collected was analyzed by means of multivariate analysis. Our findings indicate that LP practices are positively associated with Industry 4.0 technologies and their concurrent implementation leads to larger performance improvements. Further, the contextual variables investigated do matter to this association, although not all aspects matter to the same extent and effect.
2018-03-22T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2018 Revista Empreender e Inovarhttps://periodicos.unifebe.edu.br/index.php/reei/article/view/623THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PRE-INTERNATIONALIZATION OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES AND THE RESOURCES FOR INNOVATION2018-03-22T16:52:34-03:00Andrei Carlos Torresani Pazasimone.sartori@unifebe.edu.brGraziela Breitenbauch de Mouragrazi1@univali.br
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) despite the limited resources often seek internationalization for cost reduction and technological innovation to remain competitive in the market. Based on this context, this article seeks to verify the relationship between the pre-internationalization stage of SMEs and the resources for innovation. The company's innovation resources for internationalization were analyzed based on knowledge about the international market from the perception of the managers (SARASVATHY, 2009) and its networks (ASPELUND; KOED; MOEN, 2007). It was identified the main concepts of the literature on the stage of pre-internationalization and the importance of resources for internationalization. Through a survey applied in 104 SMEs of the city of Itajaí in Santa Catarina (SC), the binary logistic regression technique was used. The results of the research indicate that the independent variables knowledge about the international market and networks together presented high chances of association for the companies to be exporters. The work brought contributions to the literature of the pre-internationalization of companies and insights for scholars. For future research, we suggest the application of this work in other cities and the use of other variables referring to the resources of companies for internationalization, helping in the evolution of the understanding of their influence in the process of SMEs’ internationalization.
For that, a bibliographic portfolio was elaborated on the subject. The analysis revealed that the network has a degree of 10.4% of density, indicating that there is a low level of citations among authors, and that there are few centralized authors with a high number of relationships, and many authors in peripheral positions, With low number of relationships with the other authors. The analysis also revealed that the most prominent authors are Chesbrough, Van de Vrande and Lee. It can be concluded that a small number of authors have a significant influence on the others. And, the low degree of citations among authors shows that the topic is not yet consolidated in the literature, indicating that there is a promising field for future research.
2018-03-22T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2018 Revista Empreender e Inovarhttps://periodicos.unifebe.edu.br/index.php/reei/article/view/599APPLICATION OF SWOT MATRIX IN LOCAL PRODUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT - INDUSTRIAL HEALTH COMPLEX LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PELOTAS/RS2018-03-22T16:52:35-03:00Caroline Vergara Rodriguescarolinevergara3@gmail.comAline Soares Pereirapereira.asp@gmail.comPaulo Roberto Boeira Fuculo Juniorpaulorfuculo@gmail.comÍcaro Pedroso de Oliveiraicaroeng.agro@gmail.comBruna Fronza dos Santosbrunafronza95@gmail.com
The Local Productive Arrangement (APL) of the Industrial Health Complex (CIS) of RS was constituted through cooperative forces and leaderships, and includes industrial sectors in the areas of health and biotechnology. Therefore, they improve practices and processes that differentiate them in the market and generate an added value in products or services. Knowledge is a factor that impacts these practices and processes, and communities of practice (CoP’s) can facilitate knowledge sharing. Literature suggests the CoPs’ potential to support innovation processes. There are, however, few publications on this subject. This article addresses this gap in analyzing how communities of practice relate to innovation. Based on a systematic review of publications, the present article contributes to the literature on CoP's and innovation by bringing specificities and characteristics of communities focused on innovation. The results indicate that members of such communities are characterized by the presence of members interested in entrepreneurship, challenging and flexible to external interventions, open keeping internal and external contacts to the organization, and inclined to be part of groups composed of members with backgrounds in different areas.
2018-03-22T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2018 Revista Empreender e Inovarhttps://periodicos.unifebe.edu.br/index.php/reei/article/view/621MOTIVATIONS AND RESISTANCES FOR THE USE OF MOBILE BANKING2018-03-22T16:52:35-03:00Luiz Fernando da Silvasimone.sartori@unifebe.edu.brTamires Adriana SchroderTamires.schroder@gmail.comAdriana Kroenkeakroenke@furb.brTechnology has become notably part of customer service. To reach such a goal, we used the adaptation of Technology Acceptance Model, Innovation Diffusion Theory and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology.
