Abstract

The search for all energy generation in a renewable way is that energy from solar resources is an interesting alternative to help contribute to the increase in the rates of clean energy generation. The advantages provided by solar energy are numerous, especially in countries where irradiation values are expressive, as in the case of Brazil. Several investments, whether private or governmental, have been carried out in the research and use of this source of electricity generation.  Currently, the city of Guabiruba/SC participates in an international cooperation agreement for the environment and climate, which aims to encourage actions related to sustainability, and preservation of the environment, in addition to contributing to improvements in the urban environment, providing health, well-being, and safety to the population. Analyzing the recent implementation of several points of bicycle maintenance stations, the result of the partnership between the municipality of Guabiruba/SC and the city Karlsdorf- Neuthard (Germany), this work aims to contribute to a proposal for the implementation of photovoltaic coverage for bicycle stations.  It aims, in the implementation, to support cyclists traveling through the region, providing charging points for electronic devices, through USB modules, and night lighting on site, assisting in visibility for the use of existing equipment in the stations and intended to perform small maintenance on their vehicles. In addition, this project was designed to taking advantage of the space for renewable energy generation, protect the existing structure from any weather. Moreover, the feasibility of installing this photovoltaic structure is justified, by the fact that the municipality seeks to encourage the use of bicycles as a means of transport and the implementation of a project related to the tourism cycle
